Wayne attended Radford University and has been practicing as a certified personal accountant for thirty-six years. Originally from Windsor Virginia, Wayne has always held an interest in mathematics, as well as helping people with their finances and taxes. Mr. Scott’s expertise is in small business consulting, auditing and tax planning. When he isn’t at work, Wayne enjoys spending time with his family, his wife Julie and their children. He also enjoys golf, college football and helping others. He is a member of Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Tidewater Chapter of the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is an active member of his church and within the community serving as a member and past president of the Rotary Club in Downtown Suffolk, the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elk, and Treasurer of the Obici Healthcare Foundation.

Doug Bradshaw is a native of Hampton Roads who attended Old Dominion University and has now been a practicing certified public accountant for over twenty-two years. His interest in business and the use of financial information in business management led him to become a certified public accountant, and he now uses his knowledge to assist others with their personal and small business accounting and taxation. When he is not at the office, Doug enjoys spending time with his wife Linda of twenty-four years and their adult son Kyle. He also enjoys spending time playing golf, aviation, and ODU sports.

A native of Suffolk, Japheth “Jape” Rawls graduated from James Madison University with a major in accounting. He then went on to become a certified public accountant specializing in tax planning, preparation of personal and commercial business taxes, preparation of estate and fiduciary taxes, and resolving IRS and State tax issues. Mr. Rawls feels that every client is important, and he strives to work hard to provide value to all his clients. He attributes his outlook to his role model and former partner whom he says always loved his work and showed respect and concern for others. When he is not working, Jape enjoys spending time with his wife Charlotte of thirty-three years, as well as visiting with his two adult children and spending time outdoors. Jape has been practicing as a public accountant for thirty years and is an active member of the Virginia Society of Certified Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Shelly Smith graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in accounting from Christopher Newport University. As a teenager born and raised in Chuckatuck, she had the opportunity to spend her summers working in an accounting office and says she always knew this was the profession she was most passionate about. Nineteen years later Mrs. Smith still works as an accountant specializing in audits, bookkeeping, and individual and business tax. She is also a member of the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Rotary Club of Downtown Suffolk, and Good News Baptist Church. Shelly values her family above all else and when not at work, spends her spare time at the beach with her husband Ray and their two children, as well as playing a round of golf, or a game of softball.
